This was part of dinner last night, and I can whole-heartedly recommend it:
Strawberry and Spinach Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette
for the dressing
1/4 C sugar
scant 1/4 C veg. oil
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
for the salad
1/2 pint strawberries, sliced
1/2 small red onion, sliced
1 package fresh spinach leaves
Combine dressing ingredients in a small bowl, add to salad, toss. Wonder quietly why you hadn't thought to put strawberries in a green salad before.
